Kennedy Association presented its plans for a museum dedicated to the largest German prison camp in France. The museum will be located on a 1.2 hectare plot of land in Raveno-ville<em>, &#8220;very close to where the former camp stood<\/em>&#8220;, explains Maya Duburch, the association&#8217;s general delegate. It will comprise three interconnected buildings with a total surface area of 1,231m2, including 700m2 of permanent exhibition space and 120m of temporary exhibition space.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum will address four themes, added Maya Duburch: <em>&#8220;camp management, international law for the detention of prisoners of war, the pace of life and the return of prisoners to their homeland&#8221;.<\/em> The project has been under study since 2014, and will cost over 9.5 million euros, 80% of which will be funded by the European Union, the Region, the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the D\u00e9partement, with the remaining 20% coming from sponsorship.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work is due to start in spring 2026, with a view to opening in 2028.
